Nashville's country music industry is energized in downtown, where Broadway, the area's main strip, is lined with busy honky-tonk clubs. The 1892 Ryman Auditorium hosts high-profile performances and gives backstage tours, and the Johnny Cash Museum in the District houses items from the singer's life. Hands-on displays and audio tours are available at the SoBro area's Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum.
Nashville's downtown area is where world-class live music is performed every day of the year in honky tonks. Additionally, historic structures have been transformed into music attractions, boutique hotels, art galleries, and chef-driven restaurants, and new hotels, restaurants, music venues, and attractions are being built all over the city.
The Honky Tonk Highway in Nashville is a stretch of bars and clubs with at least one rocking stage, icy drinks, and a party that goes on all day and into the night. Stop by and see who's playing your tune every day of the year at one of these Lower Broadway clubs since you never know who you'll run into there.
A significant boulevard in Nashville, Tennessee's downtown is called Broadway. In terms of music venues, Nashville's Bluebird Cafe, a local favorite, offers an intimate and comfortable 90-seat setting to hear live local music as well as big-hitting artists. Lower Broadway, an entertainment neighborhood famous for honky tonks and live country music, is also included in this area. Due to its in-the-round design, singer/songwriters perform together in the center while exchanging stories and musical accompaniment. On a typical night, three or four people perform and provide instrumental and vocal harmonies in turn. Recommendation from knowledgeable local Christy Wicks
One of the greatest ways to experience the city's sights, sounds, and flavors is to explore downtown on foot. It is secure, simple, and safe to do so. Walking is an excellent method to get around because there are 70 miles of walkways and the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge that connects downtown to the east bank and Nissan Stadium!
