Billy Graham Library

The Billy Graham Library is a public museum and library that chronicles Christian preacher Billy Graham's life and work. The public could enter the 40,000 square foot (3,700 m2) building on June 5, 2007.

A few miles from the home where Graham was raised, the library is situated on the grounds of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association's global headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina. Graham grew up on a farm, thus the library is decorated like a dairy barn and even a mechanical "talking" cow.

This library is unlike any other you have seen because it has been preserved and designed to celebrate Pastor Billy Graham's rich history.

The Billy Graham Library is a public museum and library that chronicles Christian preacher Billy Graham's life and work.

The library's primary galleries feature a wide variety of presentations, images, musical compositions, artifacts, and voices from throughout Graham's ministry. The evangelist's wife, Ruth Bell Graham, is the sole subject of one gallery. All guests enter the Library through doors at the base of a 40-foot (12 m) glass cross, which also serves as a dairy bar café and bookstore named "Ruth's Attic." Ruth Graham was laid to rest on June 17, 2007, at the Prayer Garden, which is also situated on the grounds of the Library.

This isn't really a museum—an experience, to put it simply. Pastor Billy Graham is remembered at this event for the force of his faith and the lives he affected, as well as for everything from the gospel he preached to the life he led, masterfully fashioned into a tour you'll never forget.

Opening hours for the Billy Graham Library are 9:30 am, Monday through Saturday. to 5 p.m. This becomes one of the top things to do in Charlotte because entrance is free.

I'd advise allowing two to three hours. It takes roughly an hour and a half to complete the Journey of Faith tour inside the library. The Graham Family Homeplace and the Memorial Prayer Garden are also open for tours.
