The Broadmoor

The Broadmoor, often known as THE BROADMOOR, is a hotel and resort in Colorado Springs' Broadmoor area. It is a part of the National Trust for Historic Preservation's Historic Hotels of America organization. Among its visitors have been heads of state, celebrities, and athletes.

At the base of Cheyenne Mountain, on Colorado Springs' southwest side, is where you'll find the Broadmoor neighborhood. Many people are attracted to this area by its unique mansions, stunning scenery, opulent lifestyle, and historical history.

The primary resort complex is located 5 miles (8.0 km) southwest of the center of Colorado Springs at the foot of Cheyenne Mountain, at a height of 6,230 feet (1,900 m). From Cheyenne Lake, the resort's hotel, convention, sports, and spa buildings extend outward. The Broadmoor's Cloud Camp is located on the summit of Cheyenne Mountain, while The Broadmoor's Ranch at Emerald Valley is a luxurious resort and collection of cottages located on the backside of Cheyenne Mountain.

The Broadmoor World Arena, which was destroyed in 1994 and replaced with a different arena of the same name in Colorado Springs, previously hosted national and international competitions in skating and hockey. The Broadmoor Golf Club has hosted major golf tournaments ever since 1921. Championships for clay pigeon shooting have also taken place at the resort.

A few local officials and celebrities also reside in this highly sought-after neighborhood, which also boasts excellent schools and a variety of lovely parks for biking and hiking. This is one of the most sought-after spots in town to settle if you're an outdoor enthusiast with some extra cash to burn.
