The name East Atlanta Village mostly refers to the neighborhood's business center. East Atlanta is a neighborhood on the eastside of Atlanta, Georgia, in the United States.

East Atlanta, also known as East Atlanta Village, is a laid-back neighborhood with plenty of street art. Yoga studios, independent stores, dive pubs, and restaurants on hopping Flat Shoals Road are frequented by trendy young folks. The EARL, one of the nightlife places, presents both regional and international musical performers. Tennis courts, woodland areas, and trails may be found in the close-by Brownwood Park.

Metro Atlanta, the Creek Native Americans had previously ruled the region before the arrival of American colonists. The Sandtown-Flat Shoals Trail was a part of a network of trade routes that ran from the Chattahoochee River to the ocean and ran along high ground. Over time, this path would develop into Flat Shoals Avenue. Atlanta, GA, following the Creek's violent eviction in the 1820s, American citizens started to buy land in the region through the Georgia land lotteries.

A walkable part of town with a distinct, edgy personality and a flourishing independent business community is East Atlanta Village. East Atlanta Village, a neighborhood with easy access to I-20 and a quirky, hip, and unpretentious balance of urban living, is situated south of Little Five Points.

East Atlanta is home to various murals and public art projects from internationally renowned artists thanks to Living Walls, which has supported over 100 public art projects in the metro area, and the Outer Space Project, which funds outdoor mural projects. The two dozen murals and installations in the eccentric neighborhood are highlighted in a short, 1-mile circle walking tour that is provided by this interactive Atlanta street art map.

This neighborhood is known by the acronym EAV, which includes the word "village" in its name. This multicultural, pedestrian-friendly area of the city has clearly urban amenities like flower shops, late-night bars, and tattoo parlors, but still emits a small-town vibe. When you visit companies here, you actually meet the owners, according to Quynh "Q" Trinh, the woman behind neighborhood banh mi shop We Suki Suki and the Global Grub Collective, a tiny international food hall and restaurant incubator.

Atlanta area, our community is a wonderful environment to bring up a family. Right in the center of the neighborhood lies Brownwood Park, which features a playground, shady trees, a leisure center, and a computer lab that has recently undergone renovations. Only a little distance separates you from the East Atlanta Branch Library. The East Lake YMCA, Zoo Atlanta, Grant Park, and the Warren/Holyfield Boys & Girls Club are also close by.
